We take for granted that we always have access to clean water in our taps and electricity from a socket in the wall but for much of Africa this is not so. In this webcast we learn about what public utilities are like in Ghana. Do they have running water piped to their homes and school, or do they have to collect it from a communal water pump? Is electricity available all year or all day? What about the rubbish they generate? Is it collected and where does it end up? This webcast looks at some of the basics of life in Ghana.
